Three Section Pen
Status: COMPLETED!
We have foundation poured for a 15′ X 12′ pen, which will have internal sliding doors to allow for three smaller pens for restricted activity birds, or one larger pen to encourage flight and develop mobility in birds recovering from wing injuries. Remaining cost of materials and labor is approximately $11,000.
UPDATE: Thanks to Klamath Basin Audubon Society, the 3 section pen is finished and inhabited! And, the Eagle/large raptor flight has cable and net up and is only a few weeks away from completion. We just need to set a door, bulldoze some rock around and build a few perches and shelters! Great things are happening here!
