Barry is one of our few mammalian educational ambassadors. He is a Virginia Opossum that was found as a baby in Eagle Point, OR, in the road during a rainstorm. He had been separated from his mom. Barry is nocturnal, but does come out to greet visitors. Opossums are very beneficial animals to the environment, however, they are considered an invasive species in Oregon.
