Pond Area
Status: Pending
Currently, we have no natural area for recuperation and rehabilitation of water birds. We hope to construct a fenced pond, surrounded by natural plants and cover, to facilitate recovery of ducks, geese, herons and other water birds that have been orphaned or injured. Most of these birds are very sensitive to stress and do not survive in traditional cages or enclosures. A new well must be dug as well. Approximate cost is $30,000.
